Visual Curators

If Hip Hop and Graffiti were personified, they’d be the perfect couple. One could never survive without the qualities the other possesses. They are both, however, influential and both inspired and inspiring. Like hand and glove, record and turntable, they are a match made in heaven.

Hip Hop has been likened to womanhood in many songs.  Staying true to that theory, her much older man, graffiti, has been around for a bit longer than she and has gained much more experience through the centuries. Though younger, Hip Hop has also been exploited and used many times over; they must both remember their purpose and attempt to remain stoic in an ever-changing world.

Urban Mediums and Curators of Hip Hop, an online documentary series, have teamed up to celebrate the marriage of graffiti writing and Hip Hop. Here, you can find links, videos and blurbs relevant to the Curators of Hip Hop and Urban Mediums partnership and the love story between Hip Hop culture and the graffiti hustle.

Here’s to a flawless union… [www.cohh.com]
